
Yard Dawgz ready to square off against Amarillo

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz and the Amarillo Dusters are battling for playoff position as they square off this Sunday afternoon July 10th at the Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo, Texas. Kickoff is slated for 3:00 p.m. and the game can be heard live on www.okcyarddawgz.com or watched on www.af2tv.com. The Yard Dawgz have won five out of their last six games and only sit one game back of Amarillo for second place in the Midwest Division.
"Our next four games are against playoff caliber teams and we could see any of them in the af2 playoffs at some point," said Yard Dawgz head coach Jeff Jarnigan.
The Yard Dawgz defeated the Dusters on June 11th in the friendly confines of the Ford Center 74-67. Quarterback Craig Strickland and offensive specialist Jarrail Jackson led the Dawgz on the night. Strickland finished the night 26-of-35 for 361 yards and nine touchdowns, while Jackson added 15 catches for 198 yards and four touchdowns.
The Dawgz will return home on Saturday July 16th when they face the Louisville Fire. Kickoff for that game is set for 7:30 p.m. and tickets are available by calling 1-800-511-1552 or visiting www.okcyarddawgz.com
