OKLAHOMA CITY- The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz are excited to announce their 2010 Dance Team! Final auditions were held on Sunday, January 24, at the Bricktown Brewery. More than 50 talented dancers auditioned for the opportunity to perform in front of Yard Dawgz fans this season.
The women auditioned in front of a panel of judges that included Yard Dawgz owner Phil Miller, members of the Yard Dawgz front office and coaching staffs; Dance Team Coordinator Brandy Corcoran; and Bobby Yannarell from Wild 104.9. The event was emceed by J-Rod from KJ103.
The franchise selected 21 dancers to be a part of the 2010 Dance Team. Several members of the squad currently cheer or dance at local universities.
"There was a lot of talent at this year's audition. We selected a good mix 11 veterans and 10 rookies to dance this season," Corcoran said. "We are looking forward to stepping up into the AF1 (Arena Football One League) and the ladies are excited to kick-off our season."

The women will perform at all Yard Dawgz home games and will make appearances throughout Oklahoma City during 2010. Mark your calendars as the 2010 Yard Dawgz Dance Team takes the field for the first time on April 3, at 7:05 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center.
