Arena Football One To Host League Meeting In Tulsa

Owners, General Managers and Coaches from the 15 Arena Football One teams will arrive in Tulsa for the inaugural league meetings this week at the Downtown Doubletree Hotel.
Arena Football One will be relocating their office from Chicago to Tulsa prior to the start of the 2010 season. The league office will employ 15 people fulltime with 13 of the employees being hired from the Tulsa market. The goal moving forward is to have the size of the staff grow from 15 to 30. The relocation of the Arena Football One league office to Tulsa will have a substantial economic impact on the city as there will be multiple meetings conducted in Tulsa each year.
Arena Football One's inaugural season begins Friday, April 2 when the Milwaukee Iron travel to Spokane to take on the Shock and concludes July 31st with 8 teams seeing action. The 2010 playoffs will be contested starting the 1st weekend in August with the 1st ever Arena Football One champion being crowned the weekend of August 20th.
