X's Kick off 20th Anniversary Season this Saturday, Individual Game Tickets to Go on Sale

The boys of summer are back...Firework extravaganza's, an array of 20th Anniversary Giveaways and a summer full of fun and excitement are all on tap for the teams 20th Season in Siouxland - and beginning this Saturday, April 28th at 10:00 AM, fans will get their first opportunity to purchase single game tickets for all 50 games on the Explorers 2012 home schedule.
Not only do individual tickets go on sale this Saturday, April 28th at the Lewis & Clark Park box office, but the X's are kicking off the 2012 season by offering a great ticket special for this Saturday only, all fans that stop down and purchase a ticket to the 2012 home opener on Saturday, May 19th, will also receive a FREE ticket (of equal or lesser value) to any other home game in the month of May, while also receiving a complimentary Pepsi soft drink and Wimmer's hot dog served fresh off the grill by field manager, Stan Cliburn during this Saturday's event from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
The X's 2012 kick-off party does not stop there... the X's will be also be having a merchandise blow out sale at this event with items being offered at up to 75% off and make sure to bring the kid's as Slider along a few X's players will also be on hand from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM to sign autographs!! Make sure to mark your schedules for this Saturday as a wide range of tickets will be available when the box office opens at 10:00 AM with tickets ranging from as low as only $5 per ticket up to $11 for the best seats in the house. Additionally, group discounts are also available for every home game on the 2012 home schedule with a group of 20 or more people.
Single game tickets may be purchased one of three ways: in person at the Lewis & Clark Park Box Office (Starting Saturday, April 28th at 10:00 AM), by telephone (712-277-9467), or on-line at www.xsbaseball.com. Sure to go fast are seats for the Explorers May 19th home opener against the Sioux Falls Fighting Pheasants. Highlighting the night will be a 20th Anniversary Rally Towel giveaway, along with Magnet Schedule Giveaway night by Great Southern Bank and a spectacular post-game fireworks show by Lantis Fireworks to cap off the evening.
In addition to "Opening Night" fireworks, firework shows are also scheduled following the Explorers July 3rd, July 4th, and September 3rd games at Lewis & Clark Park. NEW for 2012, every Saturday home game on the 2012 schedule will feature a 20th Anniversary Giveaway as baseball cards, baseball caps, team posters, mini bats, pennants and logo baseballs are just some of the special giveaway items planned for every Saturday home game during the 20th Anniversary Season!
The Explorers will also be bringing back their ever so popular money-saving theme nights in 2012 with a few new ones scheduled for the 20th Anniversary season. NEW for 2012, Mini Monday's, where all mini X's fans 12 years of age or younger can receive a FREE reserved seat game ticket for any Monday home game (excludes September 3, 2012). Two-For-Tuesday is back in 2012 where all Box seat and Reserve Seat game tickets are BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!! The ever so popular Weiner Wednesday will return in 2012 and fans will get the opportunity to take advantage $1 hotdogs during every Wednesday home game. Coors Light "Thirsty Thursday" returns again in 2012 and once again fans 21 years of age or older can purchase any size Coors Light beer and receive one of equal or lesser value FREE and 12oz Pepsi soft drinks will also be offered on a buy one get one free special as well !! Weekend Happy Hour (Friday & Saturday) is back on the Bullpen BBQ deck for a third season and 12oz domestic draft beer and 12 oz Pepsi soft drinks will only be $1 from 6:00 PM until the first pitch (7:05pm). Family Day-Sunday rounds out the week with families having the opportunity to receive (1) reserve seat game ticket, (1) hot dog, and (1) Pepsi soft drink for ONLY $11 per family pack!
