Xplosion's Pittsnogle ranked among top minor league players

PITTSBURGH, March 2, 2007 - Pittsburgh Xplosion All-Star and former West Virginia All-American Kevin Pittsnogle has been ranked as the sixth-best player in minor league basketball by ProBasketballNews.com. Click here to view the complete rankings.

The leading candidate for Continental Basketball Association Rookie of the Year, Pittsnogle leads the Pittsburgh Xplosion and ranks among the CBA leaders in both scoring (20.1) and rebounding (6.4). He has posted two of the league's top four single game scoring performances this year, erupting for 44 points at Minot on January 10 and 42 points against Albany on January 1. The 6-11 forward also currently stands among the CBA leaders in free throw percentage and three-point field goal percentage, as well as three-point field goals made and attempted.
