Xplosion to hold exhibition games

PITTSBURGH, November 20, 2006 - The Pittsburgh Xplosion professional basketball team will play a pair of exhibition games in preparation for its upcoming Continental Basketball Association season at Valley High School in New Kensington, Pa. on Tuesday, November 21 and at Court Time Sports Center in Elizabeth, Pa. on Friday, November 24.

The games will be the first opportunity for area basketball fans to see the Xplosion in action, including former West Virginia University All-American Kevin Pittsnogle and Duquesne University standout Bryant McAllister.

The Xplosion games will tip-off at 7:00 PM and be preceded by a local High School Varsity scrimmage at 6:00 PM. Fans will be able to "Meet and Greet" players, receive autographs and take pictures after the game. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. A portion of the proceeds will support each high school's general athletic program.

Valley High School is located at 703 Stevenson Boulevard in New Kensington, Pa. while Court Time Sports Center is located at 95 Enterprise Drive in Elizabeth, Pa. For more information call the Xplosion at 877-410-9900.

The Pittsburgh Xplosion opens its 2006-07 Continental Basketball Association schedule at Albany on December 1 and plays its home opener versus the Indiana AlleyCats at Mellon Arena on Wednesday, December 6 at 7:05 PM.
