Syracuse Mets News Release

SYRACUSE (NY) - The Syracuse Chiefs announced today that WWE Diva Lilian Garcia will attend the game on June 25th when the Chiefs take on the Toledo Mud Hens. Garcia will perform the National Anthem and sign autographs. In addition, there will be a ticket package available for fans to attend a pre-game meet and greet session.

"We are pleased to bring in this very talented performer from one of the major entertainment companies in the world," said Chiefs General Manager John Simone.

As the ring announcer on Raw, Lilian Garcia has performed the National Anthem at hundreds of WWE, NBA, New York Jets games and other sporting events. She made WWE history by becoming the first female to announce WrestleMania, at Wrestlemania 22. In November 2001, she sang on the WWE float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Garcia's first single, "Shout," released in 2002, became a hit. Garcia's Spanish language debut album ¡Quiero Vivir! was released in October 2007, which includes 12 tracks and two duets--one featuring Latin recording artist Jon Secada.
