WSOP Bracelet Winner To Visit Rattlers On May 6

GRAND CHUTE, WI - Eric Baldwin returns to Time Warner Cable Field with a little more jewelry than the last time he left the home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. Baldwin was the right fielder for the UW-Whitewater Warhawks when they won the NCAA Division III College World Series in 2005. Baldwin hung up the glove and has become a successful poker professional. The World Series of Poker bracelet winner will be on hand when the Timber Rattlers face the Quad Cities River Bandits on Thursday, May 6 at 6:35pm.

Baldwin won the $1,500 No-Limit Hold-'em Event at the 2009 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. The bracelet was just part of an outstanding year for the native of Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Card Player magazine recognized Baldwin's fantastic season by naming him their Player of the Year.

His 2010 is off to a flying start as well. In the recently completed World Poker Tour World Championship in Las Vegas, Baldwin finished as runner-up in a field of 195 that included top pros like Phil Hellmuth and Scotty Nguyen. The event will be televised later this year as part of WPT Season VIII.

Baldwin will take batting practice with the team and toss out a ceremonial first pitch before the game against the River Bandits. Game time is 6:35pm
