
Wright on for Skeeters in 5-4 Win

Sugar Land Space Cowboys News Release
On Tuesday Night Matt Wright moved to 6-0 on the season, as the Skeeters played Game 1 of a three game set against the York Revolution in a back and fourth battle that Sugar Land won 5-4. After York scored first The Skeeters lead 2-1 going into the bottom of the second. The Revolution scored solo runs for the third straight inning and lead 3-2. In the fifth Sugar Land receive three runs though; two on a single by Koby Clemens and the Skeeters lead 5-3.
The bullpen then took over as Dustin Richardson, Roy Corcoran and Jason Bergmann shut it down, despite a scare in the ninth. Jason Bergmann came on to close it out, but allowed a homerun, the first run scored against him this season breaking up a streak of 18 consecutive scoreless innings. He then put the tying run at second in the bottom of the ninth, but the Skeeters hold on to win 5-4.
Up Next : In Game 2 of this three game set Sugar Land sends out RHP Adam Miller (1-1, 2.11) vs. RHP Corey Thurman (3-5, 4.93).
