Wranglers Re-Sign 2022 IFL Defensive Player of the Year JaQuan Artis

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Northern Arizona Wranglers are excited to announce the re-signing of defensive end JaQuan Artis to their venomous defensive unit.

The Wranglers made a major move on Monday, bringing back one of the most dominant defensive players from their 2022 National Championship run. Artis was a force during his first season in the Indoor Football League. Artis earned himself many awards from the IFL, during his tear as a rookie.

Here are some of the recognitions that Artis earned last season with the Wranglers.

The Wranglers took the IFL National Championship trophy back to Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Artis was named the MVP of that game. Artis also led the league in both sacks and tackles for loss in 2022. Northern Arizona is ecstatic for Artis to be back on the defensive unit that already ranks No. 1 in the IFL.
