Las Vegas went 3-7 on the power play in Game 2 against Stockton, improving to the number one ranking (24%) in the playoffs. The team finished dead last on the power play in the regular season (12.1%). Las Vegas improved to 7-2 in every Game 2 in team history. The Wranglers are 4-1-1 when leading after the first period of play in the playoffs.

The last remaining Wrangler in the AHL, Matt Beaudoin, moved on to the 2nd round as Houston defeated Peoria 5-2 in Game 7 of their first round series. Around the ECHL - Playoff Update

The South Carolina Stingrays and the Brabham Cup Champion Florida Everblades are tied 1-1 in their series. Florida bounced back from a Game 1 loss and defeated the Stingrays 4-2 at home on Saturday night in Game 2. Game 3 is Friday night in South Carolina at 7:05 PM (EST).

Defending Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati defeated Elmira 5-4 in overtime of Game 2 on Saturday night in Cincinnati. The Cyclones lead the series 2-0. Game 3 is Friday night in Elmira at 7:05 PM (EST).

The West Division Champion Alaska Aces took a 2-0 lead in their series with the Victoria Salmon Kings after winning Game 2 8-2 on Saturday night at home. Game 3 is Wednesday in Victoria at 7:05 pm. Game 2 Recap

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Stockton Thunder 4-2 in Game 2 of the Pacific Division Finals in front of 2,816 fans at the Orleans Arena on Monday night. Forwards Dan Riedel and Adam Miller each tallied a goal and an assist as the Wranglers improve to 5-4 this postseason. Wranglers' defenseman Jason Dest and Sean Owens also scored in the win. Las Vegas goalie Glenn Fisher made 23 saves as the Wranglers tied the series at 1-1. Forwards James Bates and David Rohlfs each scored for the Thunder. Stockton goalie Parker Van Buskirk stopped 26 of 30 in his second loss of the playoffs. With the victory, the Wranglers automatically force Game 5 in Las Vegas next Monday.
