Phoenix, Ariz. - The 5x world champion Arizona Rattlers have been assigned wide receiver Chase Deadder for the 2016 and 2017 Arena Football League (AFL) seasons. This will be Deadder's second season with the Arizona Rattlers, his third in the AFL.

Deadder missed part of the 2015 season due to injury, but when healthy showed strong play making abilities both on offense and on special teams. The ten games he did play in, he totaled 349 yards and 14 touchdowns, as well as 9.5 tackles on special teams.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Deadder began his AFL career with the Utah Blaze in 2015. During his rookie season, he caught 85 passes for 793 yards and 15 touchdowns in 17 games. He also rushed for 6 touchdowns.

The Modesto California native earned Second Team All-Big Sky honors in 2010 at Sacramento State after collecting 37 receptions for 788 yards and 6 touchdowns. Deadder also spent time with the Tennessee Titans following the 2012 NFL Draft.
