
WR/DB Toliver placed on \'left squad'

TAMPA BAY - The five-time world champion Tampa Bay Storm have placed wide receiver/corner back T.T. Toliver on 'Left Squad' and signed fullback Marvin Brown, Head Coach and General Manager Tim Marcum announced today. Fullback Clenton Crossley was also released.
"We put Toliver on the 'Left Squad' list today," said Head Coach and General Manager Tim Marcum. "Toliver said he did not want to play anymore."
Toliver is ineligible to play, practice or attend meetings with the team for a minimum of two weeks. The Storm maintains his rights and must place him on the 'Reserve List'.
Brown, a 6-foot-1, 250-pound fullback, was most recently with the Lakeland Thunderbolts of the American Indoor Football Association. He played at the University of Alabama and was a member of the 1999 SEC Championship team. Brown opened the 2005 Arena Football League season with the Philadelphia Soul and appeared in one game. He has spent time in the National Football League with the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns.
The 2007 Storm season, presented by Champs Sports, Where Sports Lives, returns to the St. Pete Times Forum Saturday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m. as the Tampa Bay Storm take on their National Conference rival the Philadelphia Soul.
