
World Series Party Set for October 19

BELOIT, Wis. - Even though the Minnesota Twins won't be making a playoff push this season, the Beloit Snappers want to invite all their fans out to a night of fun and watching baseball. On Wednesday, October 19 at the Hog Cabin Saloon, members of the front office staff will be on hand to watch game one of the 2011 World Series.
The cost per person is $10 and that includes draft beer, soda and snacks catered by Best Events Catering. Fans can head to the Hog Cabin located at 631 Newark Road in Beloit. It's the first business on your right as you head west over the Newark bridge. The event will start at 7:00pm with first pitch to be determined.
To purchase tickets, fans can call the Snappers front office at 608-362-2272 or visit them at 2301 Skyline Drive, Beloit, WI 53511. Advance purchase is recommended to help plan for food ordering purposes. Tickets will be available for purchase the day of the event.
The Snappers will open up their 2012 season when they face the Peoria Chiefs at Pohlman Field on Thursday, April 5.
