
Worcester Sharks Add Experience And Leadership To Sales Team

Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced the hire of Jason Jones as Director of Ticket Sales as the Sharks prepare for their 5th season of hockey at the DCU Center in Worcester.
Jason Jones was named Director of Ticket Sales and came aboard with the Sharks team last week. The Salem, NH native and graduate of the West Virginia Wesleyan University, joins the Sharks after spending the last five seasons with Lowell in the AHL where he served in various sales positions, the most recent as Director of Ticket Sales.
The 28-year-old began his career in the sports entertainment industry as an account executive with the Lowell Lock Monsters in 2004. He has served as a Board Member of the Northeastern MA branch of the March of Dimes and was affiliated with the Business Networking International, Lowell Young Professionals, and many other networking groups.
"Jason has the leadership and experience to direct our sales team," said Lehr. "We expect nothing but great things from Jason as he has an excellent track record. He came highly recommended and will be a welcomed addition to our staff. Our fans will enjoy getting to know Jason as we prepare for our 5th season of hockey in Worcester."
