Wolves Host Generals and IceDogs in Doubleheader Weekend

(GREATER SUDBURY, ON) The Sudbury Wolves return home for a doubleheader weekend following a 6- game road trip. This Friday, the Wolves host the Oshawa Generals before hitting home ice once again on Saturday to host the Niagara IceDogs. Both games are scheduled for 7:05pm start.
The Wolves come back to Sudbury after a perfect weekend on the road. The Wolves picked up with 3 wins in 3 back-to-back games defeating the IceDogs, the Erie Otters and Hamilton Bulldogs. The Wolves cap off their road trip by visiting the North Bay Battalion Thursday night before returning home.
Quentin Musty had 4 assists against the Otters Saturday night while linemate David Goyette had 2 goals in the same game. Marc Boudreau had his first multi goal game of the season Friday night when he scored two goals to help the Pack beat the IceDogs. Nick DeGrazia scored the first goal in both Friday and Saturday's game putting him at 10 on the season. DeGrazia leads the league in first goals scored with the next closest player being at 7.
The Wolves take on the Oshawa Generals Friday night in a match up full of playoff implications. Oshawa currently sits right behind the Wolves in the standings both battling to hold a playoff spot. Friday night is the Real Canadian Superstore night. The Wolves will be wearing a special fan-designed jersey for Friday's game that will be auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going towards the President's Choice Children's Charity. The jerseys will be available to purchase through an online action. The online auction will end on Monday, March 6th at 8pm.
Saturday's game is sponsored by Tim Hortons and it's also a Sudbury Saturday Night when the Wolves take on a very familiar foe as they face the Niagara IceDogs. The IceDogs make their final trip up to Sudbury this season. Tim Hortons will be on-hand with prizes and giveaways for fans and one lucky fan will win Free Coffee for a Year!
