
Wolves Bring Back Regner

The Chicago Wolves announced Tuesday they have signed defenseman BRENT REGNER.
REGNER posted an assist and 7 penalty minutes in seven games with the Wolves last season after he was acquired from the Peoria Rivermen on April 9, 2013. He accumulated 3 goals, 15 assists, and 18 points in 66 games with Peoria last year before joining Chicago.
The 24-year-old blueliner set career-highs with 29 helpers and 31 points in 75 outings with Springfield during the 2011-12 campaign.
Overall, the Westlock, Alberta, native has tallied 15 markers, 74 assists, and 89 points in 254 career outings with Chicago, Peoria, Springfield, and Syracuse from 2009-13.
In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Wolves will open their 20th season in Texas when they battle the San Antonio Rampage at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at the AT&T Center. The club will also face the Rampage for the team's home opener, presented by LifeSource, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Allstate Arena.
