Wolves Bring Back Painchaud

The Atlanta Thrashers have reassigned right wing CHAD PAINCHAUD (PAYNE-show) from the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators to the Chicago Wolves.
PAINCHAUD recorded six goals and 10 points in six games with the Gladiators after being reassigned from the Wolves on March 4. Overall, the 21-year-old forward has appeared in eight contests with the Gladiators this season, racking up 11 points (7G, 4A) and 13 penalty minutes. The Mississauga, Ontario, native has also dished out two assists in 17 tilts with the Wolves this year during his American Hockey League debut.
Last season, PAINCHAUD ranked third among ECHL rookies and second among Gwinnett first-year pros with 54 points (22G, 32A) in 72 games.
Chicago launches a five-game road swing when they face off against the Lake Erie Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday at 6 pm.
