Chicago Wolves News Release

Chicago Wolves Executive Director of Media Relations and Play-By-Play Announcer JUDD SIROTT is departing the team to become the play-by-play announcer for the NHL on HDNet.

"It was a privilege to work for the Wolves for the past 12 seasons," said Sirott. "From team ownership on down, it is a premier professional franchise. They gave me a chance to call three championships, work on an unprecedented TV package and, most importantly, made me feel like family. I'm humbled by the fans who have been so gracious and loyal. I hope things can be just as good in my new endeavors."

Added Wolves Executive Vice President of Business Operations Adam Fox: "With his professionalism and talent, Judd has entertained our fans and exposed our product to people all over the Chicago area for the last 12 years. As an ambassador of this organization, his passion and dedication leave a long legacy behind. While he will be greatly missed, we are very proud of him as he embarks on this new journey."

SIROTT was the voice of the Wolves from the team's inception in 1994, which included serving as the lead announcer for all TV broadcasts the past 10 seasons. The Chicago native, who called more than 1,000 games, was on board for all three Wolves championships: the 1998 and 2000 International Hockey League Turner Cups and the 2002 American Hockey League Calder Cup.
