WOLF PACK WEEKLY: April 13-19, 2015 The Wolf Pack (41-23-5-4, 91 pts.) swept three games this past weekend, clinching a 2014-15 playoff spot, moving into a first-place tie in the Northeast Division with Syracuse, and stretching a winning streak to a season-high five games. The Pack punched their ticket to the postseason on Friday, with a 5-0 home win over Springfield that tied the Wolf Pack's largest margin of victory of the year. Danny Kristo had a pair of goals to lead the Hartford attack, and Yann Danis rang up his second Wolf Pack shutout with 31 saves. On Saturday night the Pack won their sixth straight at home, edging the Albany Devils 2-1. Oscar Lindberg's 26th goal of the season was the game-winner in that one. Then on Sunday in Providence, Dylan McIlrath had a goal and an assist, and Danis stopped 30 shots, as the Wolf Pack took a 4-1 decision from the Bruins. Danis got the call in all three of the weekend's matchups, and allowed a total of only two goals on 88 shots.

The Wolf Pack finish the regular season with another three-game set this weekend, starting with their final home game of the regular year Friday. That is "Fan Appreciation Night", and the Wolf Pack and Bridgeport Sound Tigers face off at 7:00 PM. The Pack then visit the Albany Devils for a 5:00 PM game on Saturday, before bringing down the curtain on the regular season Sunday in Bridgeport. Faceoff for Sunday's regular-season finale is 3:00.
Friday, April 17 vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the XL Center, 7:00 PM
- This is the Wolf Pack's "Fan Appreciation Night", as the Pack pays tribute to all of the great fans who have supported the team throughout the 2014-15 season. Every fan receives a special Wolf Pack souvenir cup, and numerous great prizes will be given away during the night, including a 32-inch Contex LED TV, a Weber Grill, a Fender guitar, plus much more.
- This is also the last chance to take advantage of the Wolf Pack's Friday-night food and beverage special, as fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $2 beers at the XL Center, through the start of the second period.
- This is the last of five visits to the XL Center by the Wolf Pack's Nutmeg-State rivals the Sound Tigers, against whom the Pack are 4-2-2-0 on the year, 2-1-1-0 at home.
- The Sound Tigers are 27-38-7-1 for 62 points on the season and are in fifth place in the Northeast Division, 17 points behind fourth-place Albany.
- Dustin Jeffrey, who was acquired by the parent New York Islanders at the NHL trade deadline from Vancouver, has 6-15-21 and a +12 in 17 games since joining the Sound Tigers, and his combined total of 62 points (23-39-62) in 66 games between Bridgeport and Utica is good for sixth in the AHL.

Saturday, April 18 at the Albany Devils (Times Union Center), 5:00 PM
- The Devils kept their playoff hopes alive with a 3-2 win at Worcester Sunday, after back-to-back losses in Binghamton (6-3) Friday night and at the Wolf Pack (2-1) Saturday. Albany stands at 34-28-5-6 for 79 points, four points out of the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
- Third-year pro defenseman Raman Hrabarenka scored the only Devil goal in Albany's 2-1 loss to the Wolf Pack at the XL Center Saturday, after making his NHL debut for the parent New Jersey Devils Thursday at Tampa Bay.
- This game wraps up a ten-game season series between the Wolf Pack and Devils. The Pack are 6-3-0-0 thus far in the series, 2-2-0-0 in Albany.
