Buffalo Sabres Assign Five Players to Rochester

Rochester Americans News Release
(Rochester, NY)... The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has assigned the following players to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Forwards Mikhail Grigorenko, Johan Larsson and Phil Varone; defenseman Chad Ruhwedel and goaltender Matt Hackett.
In addition, the Amerks have released forwards Justin Mercier and Michael Pelech from their professional tryout (PTO) contracts.
