
Wolf Pack Sign Forward Andrew Rowe

HARTFORD, September 12, 2013: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed forward Andrew Rowe to an American Hockey League contract.
Rowe, a 6-2, 180-pound native of Muskegon, MI, will be entering his fourth pro season in 2013-14. Last year the 25-year-old Rowe skated in five AHL games for the Norfolk Admirals, registering one assist, four penalty minutes, a +1 and eight shots on goal. In 66 ECHL games with the Elmira Jackals, Rowe netted 29 goals and added 43 assists for 72 points, leading the club in all three categories, while serving 43 PIM and going +5.
Rowe spent most of his first two pro seasons in the AHL with the Adirondack Phantoms, playing 55 AHL games his rookie year of 2010-11 and suiting up for 34 AHL contests in 2011-12. In 94 career AHL outings, he has registered 15 goals and nine assists for 24 points, along with 30 PIM. In 78 career ECHL games with the Jackals and Greenville Road Warriors, Rowe has totaled 35 goals and 45 assists for 80 points, as well as 45 PIM.
The Philadelphia Flyers signed Rowe as a free agent May 9, 2010, following his Junior season at Michigan State University. In three years as a Spartan, Rowe accumulated 26 goals and 23 assists for 49 points, plus 60 penalty minutes.
