Amerks Sign Forward Johnny McGuire to AHL Contract

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has signed forward Johnny McGuire to a one-year American Hockey League contract.
McGuire, 20, appeared in 61 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) games in 2012-13, splitting the season between Erie and Oshawa. He recorded three points (1+2) and 105 penalty minutes. In 119 career OHL games, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound native of Peterborough, Ontario, collected seven points (4+3) and 299 penalty minutes.
