
Wizards recall Andray Blatche from Roanoke Dazzle

WASHINGTON, DC - Washington Wizards President of Basketball Operations Ernie Grunfeld announced today that the team has recalled first-year forward Andray Blatche from the Roanoke Dazzle of the NBA Development League.
Blatche was sent to Roanoke on December 4, 2005. In six games with the Dazzle, he averaged 11.2 points and 6.8 rebounds and connected on 51 percent of his field goal attempts.
Blatche was selected by Washington in the second round (49th overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft. He made his NBA debut on November 11, 2005 versus Seattle and finished with a season-high five points and two assists in seven minutes of action. Blatche has scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds in 21 total minutes played in Washington this season.
