Wizards Announce Another "Call-Up"

Bismarck, ND- The Dakota Wizards of the Continental Basketball Association are happy to announce the "call-up" of long time Wizards Public Address Announcer Scott Woodmansee to the world famous Harlem Globetrotters.

Woodmansee, who has spent the past six seasons as the "Voice of the Wizards", will join the Globetrotters on Saturday in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He will handle the Public Address duties for the Globetrotters, along with other areas of media relations.

"The Wizards organization is very excited for this great opportunity for Scott", stated Wizards General Manager Alex Geche. "Scott will be missed in the Wizards family, but we wish him the best as he takes on his new position with the Harlem Globetrotters".

"I have enjoyed my many seasons with the Wizards both as the PA announcer, and most recently in the sales and marketing department", added Woodmansee. "I am looking forward to my duties with the Globetrotters, and to be able to join another first class operation".

The first place Wizards next home game is this Sunday, January 11, versus the Rockford Lightning at the Bismarck Civic Center. Tip-off is set for 6:05 pm, CST. For ticket information call 701-258-2255.
