Wisconsin Herd Celebrates Local Heroes with Second Annual Boots vs. Badges Game

OSHKOSH, Wis - The Wisconsin Herd, the NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, will host its second annual Boots vs. Badges game on Saturday, March 7.

"We are thrilled to honor local police officers and fire fighters who protect and serve our community," said Wisconsin Herd President Steve Brandes. "We have developed a wonderful partnership with Oshkosh Corporation and Pierce Manufacturing to host our second annual Boots vs. Badges game. As an organization, it is our goal to honor and show appreciation to those who are such an integral part in our community."

To tip off First Responders Night, presented by Pierce Manufacturing, local police officers and fire fighters will compete in an exhibition charity basketball game. The contest, which features two 20-minute halves, will be played by members of the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office and Oshkosh Fire Department. Tickets start at $10 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the K-9 Unit and Dive & Rescue Team.
