
Wisconsin Herd Acquire Hassane Gueye in the 2023 International NBA G League Draft

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The Wisconsin Herd, NBA G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks, acquired the player rights to Hassane Gueye in the first-ever NBA G League International Draft.
Gueye, a 6-10 forward, most recently played for the Alliance Sport Alsace in the France LNB Pro B League. Prior to the 2022-23 season, the Senegal native played two years for the Espoirs Pau-Lacg-Orthez in the LNB Espoirs League.
This was the first year the NBA G League hosted an International Draft. The draft consisted of one round with ten players from ten different countries that were eligible to be drafted. All players are NBA Draft-eligible prospects, with the ability to declare for the NBA Draft ranging in time from 2024 through 2026.
