
Winterhawks Announce 2019 Preseason Schedule

Portland Winterhawks News Release
The Western Hockey League announced today its preseason schedule in advance of the 2019-20 season. The schedule includes 60 games, beginning Tuesday, August 27, and concluding Sunday, September 15. The Portland Winterhawks will play six preseason games against Western Conference opponents beginning Friday, August 30.
The WHL preseason schedule features four tournaments, including events hosted by the Everett Silvertips, Regina Pats, Tri-City Americans and Vancouver Giants.
The Portland Winterhawks will begin their preseason slate at Everett's tournament that is scheduled to begin Friday, August 30. The Silvertips will host the Portland Winterhawks, Seattle Thunderbirds, Spokane Chiefs, Tri-City Americans, and Vancouver Giants at Angel of the Winds Arena.
Tri-City's tournament will begin Thursday, September 5 at the Toyota Centre in Kennewick, Washington. The Winterhawks, Thunderbirds, and Chiefs will also participate in the tournament.
Portland Winterhawks' 2019 Preseason Schedule
August 30 - Portland vs. Spokane - Everett, WA - 3:00 p.m.
August 31 - Portland vs. Vancouver - Everett, WA - 11:30 a.m.
September 1 - Portland vs. Tri-City - Everett, WA - 3:00 p.m.
September 5 - Portland vs. Tri-City - Kennewick, WA - 7:05 p.m.
September 6 - Portland vs. Spokane - Kennewick, WA - 3:00 p.m.
September 7 - Portland vs. Seattle - Kennewick, WA - 3:00 p.m.
The 2019-20 WHL regular season schedule will be unveiled in late June.
