Blades Unveil 2019 Pre-Season Schedule

Saskatoon, Sask. - The Saskatoon Blades and Western Hockey League have announced the 2019 Pre-Season Schedule. The Saskatoon Blades have five exhibition contests on the docket including two on home ice at SaskTel Centre.

The Blades open the pre-season on Friday, August 30th, in Regina as they visit the Pats at the Brandt Centre. The following day the Blades will face-off with the Moose Jaw Warriors in a matinee match at 3:00pm; also at the Brandt Centre in Regina.

Blades fans will get their first taste of the potential 2019-20 roster hopefuls on Friday, September 6th when Saskatoon plays host to the Prince Albert Raiders in the annual pre-season showdown at the Legends Centre in Warman, Saskatchewan. Game time in Warman is 7:00pm and ticket sales will go directly towards the Warman Minor Hockey Association. This game will also be the first preview of the Blades & Raiders rivalry which reached new levels during the 2019 playoffs.

Saskatoon will then wrap up the pre-season schedule on home ice with a pair of bouts against the newly minted Winnipeg ICE. First up is Friday, September 13th at 7:00pm and then again on Saturday, September 14th; also at 7:00pm. Saskatoon Blades season members will have passes included in their season membership for both exhibition games at SaskTel Centre.
