Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants will begin their 19th season in the WHL with a six-game pre-season schedule beginning on Friday, August 30th. Their exhibition schedule includes three home games at the Langley Events Centre as part of a home tournament and three road games as part of a road tournament in Everett.
On Friday, August 30th the Giants head South for their first of three consecutive road games in Everett beginning at 11:30 AM against the Seattle Thunderbirds. On Saturday August 31st the G-Men clash with the Portland Winterhawks at 11:30 and will then wrap up their weekend on Sunday, September 1st at 11:30 AM against the Spokane Chiefs.
Starting on Friday, September 6th, the Vancouver Giants will play host to a six-team, seven-game, three-day tournament at the Langley Events Centre. The Giants will host the Victoria Royals at 7:30 PM on Friday and will follow up with a 7:00 PM showdown on Saturday, September 7th against the Prince George Cougars. On Sunday, September 8th at 5:00 PM the Giants clash with the Kamloops Blazers.
