
Winston Rose Named Shaw CFL Top Performer of the Month

WINNIPEG, MB. - The Canadian Football League announced Wednesday that defensive back Winston Rose has been named a Shaw CFL Top Performer for the month of July.
Rose comes off a two-interceptions performance in Week 7 and is tied for the league lead in that category with five. In Week 6, Rose helped spark a 31-1 victory over the Ottawa REDBLACKS with a 71-yard Pick-6 to open the game, his first CFL touchdown. Rose has accumulated a total of 14 tackles in addition to his five interceptions.
The club sits in first place with a record of 5-1 heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Toronto Argonauts at BMO Field before returning home to face the Calgary Stampeders August 8th at IG Field.
