
Winnipeg Blue Bombers Launch Free No-Contact Skills Camps

WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are pleased to offer two free non-contact football skills camp for youth launching this month for the 2022 season, with the goal of introducing as many kids as possible to football in a safe and fun environment.
The newly launched Jr. Blue Bombers Skills Camp is a chance for youth ages 9-12 to play with the pros through a variety of drills and skill-specific training challenges aimed at improving their fitness and knowledge of the game. The camp takes place on Tuesday April 26th and Wednesday April 27th at IG Field from 6:00 - 7:30pm.
The Blue Bombers Futures Program, first launched in 2018, teaches the basics of football for youth ages 4-8. Kids participate in a series of drills that help them develop throwing, catching, and passing skills while improving their physical literacy. The program takes place on Saturday April 16th at WSF South from 2:30 - 5:00pm and Sunday April 24th at IG Field from 9:30 - 11:30 am.
