NASHVILLE - Running past defenders, playing through balls for assists, and being honored by the USL Championship are all in a week's work for Nashville Soccer Club winger Alan Winn. Winn was recognized on the league's Team of the Week bench for his play in Nashville SC's 2-0 win over Memphis 901 FC last week. It's the first weekly honor for Alan Winn this season and the 11th overall for a Nashville SC player in 2019.

Winn was electric on Wednesday, with two shots, one assist and an 84.2% passing accuracy. It wasn't all offense for Winn against Nashville's in-state rivals. He completed two clearances, two interceptions and a tackle.

What didn't appear on the stat sheet was Winn's speed throughout the match. Winn routinely burned multiple Memphis defenders, turning defense into offense solely with his pace. On one such run, the winger sprinted 80 yards down the left wing, past the entire Memphis team, before putting a ball into the box that eventually was knocked away.

Nashville SC returns home for its preview match at Nissan Stadium on Saturday, July 27 against Indy Eleven. Tickets are available for as little as $15, or just $8 if you are a member of the Nashville SC Fan Club. Sign up to become a member of the Fan Club here to receive this special ticket offer.
