Wings Visit Big Apple to Duel Liberty

Brooklyn, New York - The Dallas Wings (1-1) duel the New York Liberty (1-2) on Sunday, May 15.

Dallas had all five starters reach double-figures to hand league-leading Washington its first loss of the season Friday night, led by 2021 All-Star MVP Arike Ogunbowale, who dropped 27 in the nation's capital. She was joined by veteran Allisha Gray, who poured in 21 points of her own, as Dallas passed the ninety-point mark, a line the team hit just five times in 2021.

While Ogunbowale's 19 points was the most scored in a second quarter this season, New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu poured in 13 points of her own in the second quarter against Indiana on Friday, part of a 31-point effort that wasn't enough to overcome the Fever in overtime.

The game will tipoff at 1 p.m. Sunday and will be shown on Bally Sports Southwest Extra.
