Dallas Wings News Release
The Dallas Wings (9-20) are in the Windy City to take on the Chicago Sky (18-12) Thursday, August 29 at 7 p.m. The game can be viewed on WNBA League Pass.
This is the third and last time the two squads will meet each other and the second time the teams have squared off in Chicago. Rookie of the Year candidate Arike Ogunbowale is averaging 21 against the Sky and 17.1 on the season, good enough for the sixth best in the league. In August, Ogunbowale is averaging 23.2 points per game, the most in the league, and shooting 44.1 percent from the floor and 44.2 from the three-point line. The Notre Dame product has pieced together six games of 20 or more, tying Alana Beard, Cappie Pondexter and Odyssey Sims as the only rookies to have done so in WNBA history.
Chicago is coming off a 93-85 loss to the Minnesota Lynx.
