
Wings make five Central Bucks East lacrosse players honorary captains Saturday

Philadelphia Wings Captain and defensemen Thomas Hajek and 15-year veteran goalie Dallas Eliuk present official jerseys to five Central Bucks East lacrosse players injured in major car accident last spring. The Wings open their season on Saturday, January 22 at 8 p.m. at the Wachovia Center against their division rival, the Toronto Rock.
The five boys Alex Bailey, Adam Serio, Kyle McCann, Eric Trawinski, and Adam Boger were on their way home from a lacrosse game last April when they got into the accident. Bailey, Serio, and McCann have fully recovered and are playing lacrosse again. Trawinski is still recovering, and Boger remains in a coma.
Three of the five boys will also attend the home opener where they will be honored pre-game by the team and participate in the ceromonial ball drop.
