
Minnesota Swarm's Riley Kemp Named NLL Rookie of the Week

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. â The National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced today that Minnesota Swarm defenseman Riley Kemp was named the NLL Rookie of the Week for Week #3 of the NLL season.
Kemp, 22 (4/19/82), recorded one goal and six loose balls in Minnesota's 19-15 loss at Toronto on Saturday. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound defenseman has tallied two goals and 16 loose balls in two games with the Swarm this season. The High River, Alberta-native was signed by Minnesota as a free agent on November 9, 2004.
The Weekly Player Awards are determined by a vote of the General Managers & Head Coaches of the league's ten member clubs.
The Swarm will host the Buffalo Bandits in the club's inaugural regular season home opener on Friday, January 21 at Xcel Energy Center at 7:30 PM.
