Manning named overall/offensive player of the week

The National Lacrosse League announced that Toronto Rock forward Blaine Manning captured the Week #3 Overall and Offensive Player of the Week awards. Manning scored six goals and added four assists for ten points in a 19-15 win over the Minnesota Swarm. Manning also collected ten loose balls and won three of seven faceoff attempts in the victory.

Mike Miron of the Arizona Sting earned Defensive Player of the Week honors for Week #3. The Sting goaltender recorded 41 saves and allowed eight goals in a 9-8 overtime victory over the Rochester Knighthawks.

Riley Kemp of the Minnesota Swarm captured his first ever Weekly Award as he was named the Week #3 Rookie of the Week. Kemp scored a goal and collected six loose balls in a 19-15 loss to the Toronto Rock.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Mike Miron (Arizona) (41 saves, 8 goals against, 4 LB) recorded 41 saves, allowed eight goals, and collected four loose balls in a 9-8 overtime win over Rochester.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Riley Kemp (Minnesota) (1G, 6LB) scored a goal and collected six loose balls in a 19-15 loss to Toronto.

OVERALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
