Aberdeen Wings News Release
The Aberdeen Wings looked to build off their 4-0 shutout vs Brookings on Friday, when The Bismarck Bobcats came to town Saturday. Bismarck would get the scoring started midway through the 1st period to take a 1-0 lead into the break, Aberdeen was only able to get 3 shots on goal in the 1st. Aberdeen came out firing in the 2nd and were able to tie things up at the 8:46 mark when Ryan Cook hammered home a power play blast from the point. Assist on the Cook goal went to Andrew Noel and Tyler Bossert. That would be all the offense for the Wings however and Bismarck would add 3 unanswered goals to leave the Odde with a 4-1 win. Aberdeen was 1 for 2 on the power play while holding Bismarck to 1 for 4. Aberdeen will be back in action when they travel to Austin (14-11-1) this Friday and Saturday. The games can be heard on 94.1FM The Rock, Streamed at HubCityRadio.com, or watched at FastHockey.com.
