The Aberdeen Wings closed out the Exhibition portion of the schedule Saturday night taking on the Fargo Force of the USHL at the Odde. The Wings fell behind with a power play goal for Fargo early in the 1st period. They would battle back with two Cosentino goals giving the Wings a 2-1 lead at intermission. The 2nd period was one to forget for the Wings as far as the scoreboard is concerned. The Wings gave up 3 to fall behind by a score of 4-2 after 2. Aberdeen would battle back late in the 3rd with a Breault goal to make things interesting down the stretch but ultimatum the Force would hold off the Wings and leave town with a 4-2 win.
The Wings will kick off the 2019-2020 Regular Season and their Robertson Cup National Championship defense this Wednesday at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN.
