Aberdeen Wings News Release
It was scoreless for the first 48 minutes as the Aberdeen Wings and Bismarck Bobcats battled on Friday night. Braden Husby broke the tie with his first of the year at the 8:41 mark. Adam Stacho made it a 2-0 game just 20 seconds later before Clayton Cosentino put the Wings back to within one with 9:21 remaining in regulation. That would be as close as the Wings would get as Andrew Miller stood on his head as he made 35 saves. Henry Welsch took the loss in goal despite making 15 saves.
The two teams will meet again tonight in Bismarck. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:15. You can watch the game at Buffalo Wings & Rings in Aberdeen or by logging on to HockeyTV.com. Or tune into 94.1 The Rock, HubCityRadio.com, or The Rock App. The Wings return to the Odde next Friday and Saturday to take on Minot.
