
Wings Acquire First Year Transition Player David Cutten

The Philadelphia Wings today acquired transition player David Cutten, a second round selection in the 2010 NLL Entry Draft, and future considerations from the Boston Blazers in exchange for forward Mat Giles. The Wings will return home to take on the Boston Blazers at Wachovia Center Saturday, March 27 at 7 p.m.
Cutten has one assist and 10 loose balls in three games played with Boston in 2010. He was originally signed by the Edmonton Rush as a rookie free agent before being traded to Toronto then Boston. He did not record any games played for either Edmonton or Toronto.
This was Giles second year with Philadelphia. He is currently fourth on the Wings in scoring with 31 points (13G, 18A). The 13 year veteran recorded 101 points (36G, 65A) in 25 career games with the Wings.
