Windsor Spitfires News Release

The Windsor Spitfires are proud to support a community that rises always rises to a challenge. Our business staff helped our friends at Habitat for Humanity in a build day project. The team was able to help on the outside of the house and help tear down the old fence and build a new one.

The project came with an amazing history as part of the Jimmy Carter Build in 2005 and one homeowner partner that has already achieved the success attained through the Habitat homeownership model.  At the same time, Habitat had a new family ready to partner - they have such an amazing story of accomplishment and we are so happy to begin this journey with them.  You can read more about the history of this home and Marcie and Donovan here.

Habitat's goal is to complete the work on this home by October, Marcie and Donovan are working diligently to complete the 500 volunteer hours that all Habitat Homeowners fulfill as part of their partnership.  This home will represent the end to their struggles with housing and provide a safe, secure environment for this small family.

The Team Day was very impactful, we were able to take part in a major project and complete it in one day. We look forward to being at the key opening ceremony for this family!

Thank you for having us, Habitat!
