Windsor Champions to be Honored by the Ice

Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice will be hosting a celebratory "Day of Champions" in recognition of Windsor High School State 3A Football Championship during the 2012 Colorado Ice home opener Sunday, March 4th at 3 p.m.
The Wizards claimed their first state football title since 1993 when they won the Class 3A State Football Championship this fall, third in school history. Head Coach, Chris Jones led his team to a near perfect record of 13-1. They avenged their only loss of the season after beating the Silver Creek Raptors 14 to 7 in the state championship game. Leading the Wizards this season were team members that will be continuing their football careers and education at the collegiate level including Ohio State University, Adams State College, and Colorado Mesa University.
Coach Jones will be recognized during in the coin toss ceremony. The players and coaching staff will be honored during half time of the game when they take their victory walk on the field.
The Windsor QB Club in conjunction with the Ice, have partnered in a fundraising opportunity to benefit the football team at this event. Wizard's fans can support the Windsor QB Club and the team by purchasing tickets to this event. When ordering by phone just by mentioning the Winsor QB Club.
