
Dayspring State Champions to be Honored by Ice

Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice will be hosting a celebratory "Day of Champions" in recognition of State Champion Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles during the 2012 Colorado Ice home opener Sunday, March 4th at 3 p.m.
The Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles football team was the Colorado High School Class A 8-Man football state champions this past fall. The Eagles, under head coach Mick Holmes, finished the season with a perfect 13-0 undefeated record. Maxpreps website recognized the Eagles on the national level as the 33rd ranked 8-Man team in the nation. This was the second championship in 4 years at the Class A 8-Man State level.
Coach Holmes will be recognized during the pregame coin toss ceremony. The players and coaching staff will be honored at half time of the game when they take their victory walk on the field.
