MOBILE, Ala. - The Chattanooga Lookouts scored 10 times in the first three innings as they slashed the BayBears on Sunday night at Hank Aaron Stadium 14-4, ending the BayBears' win streak at four.

Chattanooga (37-46, 7-7) wasted no time putting the boots to Cody Evans (3-9) as they tossed up a five-spot in the first inning. Ramon Nivar walked with one out, stole second and took third on an error by James Skelton. Nivar scored on Andrew Lambo's RBI single. Lambo and Lucas May were brought home on a two-run double by Eddy Perez to make it 3-0. Russ Mitchell finished off the first-inning scoring with a two-run blast.

Nivar's RBI triple in the second brought James Tomlin to the dish while Nivar scored on Lambo's sac fly to put the Lookouts up by seven. It became 8-0 when Mitchell singled home May. Lambo was at it again in the third as his two-run homer boasted a 10-0 lead for the Lookouts.

Alberto Bastardo (1-1) was the recipient of all the run support as he cruised through five frames while surrendering just one earned run on four hits. The BayBears (45-39, 8-6) finally got to him in the fourth as Cyle Hankerd ripped his fifth home run. Three unearned runs touched the dish in the fifth as Chris Rahl tripled in Skelton and Evan Frey while Rahl scored on Sean Couhglin's single.

Chattanooga would continue to play with the long ball against the BayBears' bullpen as Ramon Sanchez coughed up two taters in the sixth with Perez and Tommy Giles both going deep. Daniel Stange surrendered a ninth-inning run on a run-scoring double from Lambo.

Lambo ended up with five runs batted in while the Lookouts cracked 11 extra-base hits in the contest including six doubles, a triple and four dingers.

The Mobile BayBears have sent nearly 100 players to the major leagues. They battle the Lookouts in game three of their four-game set on Monday night at 7:05 with Barry Enright (5-6, 3.87) getting the start. For Hank Aaron Stadium tickets, call (251) 479-BEAR or log on to www.mobilebaybears.com.
