MILWAUKEE (March 6, 2011) - Marco Terminesi's hat-trick leads the Milwaukee Wave to a 15-10 win over the Baltimore Blast on Sunday afternoon in the U.S. Cellular Arena, which puts the Wave tied for first-place with the Blast.

The Milwaukee Wave came out fast and energetic with goals in the first-quarter by Greg Howes, Giuliano Oliverio and Marcio Leite. Howes has scored in each of the two games since rejoining the Wave last Monday. Oliviero's goal came moments after he was honored for over 500 regular season games played and on the night of his bobblehead. The Wave held the Blast scoreless as they closed out the first quarter leading 6-0.

The Blast came out strong in the second-quarter with goals by Max Ferdinand and Machel Millwood and held the Wave scoreless in the second. The Wave took a 6-4 lead going into halftime.

The Wave was able to capitalize on a powerplay with a Marco Terminesi goal assisted by Oliviero. Terminesi added another goal less than a minute later. Baltimore's Neto netted a goal for Baltimore to cut the Wave's lead to four, but Terminesi gave Milwaukee a six point cushion again with his third goal of the day. Terminesi tied a season high with his hat trick and improved his streak with a point to 27 contests.

In the fourth-quarter Baltimore threatened again with another Millwood goal, cutting the Wave's lead to 12-8, but Evan McNeley scored a three point dagger with under two minutes left to play. Baltimore added one additional goal, but it was not enough as the Wave beat the Blast 15-10.

The Milwaukee Wave has one regular season home games left on March 13th. Super Bowl XLV MVP, Aaron Rodgers, will be attending the March 13th game on behalf of the MACC Fund. Twelve randomly selected fans will be chosen right before the start of the game to win a number '12' Wave Rodgers jersey which they can take and have autographed by Mr. Rodgers.
