(Saginaw, MI) The Maytag Repairman will be at this Friday's Spirit home game giving away a set of NEW Maytag Washing Machines, all apart of the Maytag celebration taking place all day Friday! The Saginaw Spirit take on the Plymouth Whalers Friday night at 7:11 PM.

The Maytag Repairman will be joined by Art Lewis and the crew at WSGW Friday morning for an appearance at the Maytag Store, located on Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Spirit will be running several promotions during the event, so tune into WSGW 790 AM or stop on by for information on how you could win some great Spirit prizes! Visit the Maytag Store this weekend for competitive pricing on all of their top brands, from washers and dryers to refrigerators and stoves. Plus from now until December 5 receive a MasterCard worth up to $650 when you purchase select Maytag appliances from the Maytag Store!

The Maytag Repairman will be at The Dow Event Center later that night to cheer on the home team Spirit for their 7:11 PM match-up against the Plymouth Whalers! The Maytag Repairman and the Maytag Store will be giving away a set of NEW Maytag Washing Machines during the game! Anyone over the age of 18 that has purchased a ticket for that night's Spirit game is eligible to win the machines - register at the Maytag booth located in the atrium the night of the game for your chance to win! Registration starts at 5:30 PM and closes in the first period intermission. The machines will be given away in the middle of the second period, and you must be present to win!

The Saginaw Spirit host two home games this weekend, the first on Friday night against the Plymouth Whalers at 7:11 PM. The night features an appearance from the Maytag Repairman, who will be at the game to give away a Maytag washer and dryer! Saturday night will see the Spirit taking on the London Knights at 7:11 PM and features the annual Meijer Teddy Bear Toss! Fans can throw a teddy bear onto the ice following the first Spirit goal of the game, with the bears being donated to Toys for Tots, Saginaw Area First Responders and the Covenant HealthCare Pediatrics Ward. Citadel Broadcasting personalities will be selling bears in the atrium for only $5.00, with the proceeds going to benefit the Saginaw East Side Soup Kitchen. The night also features the Zehnders of Frankenmuth Mascot Olympics - see some of your favorite mascots join Sammy Spirit and Steagle Colbeagle the Eagle for a bout of mascot dodge ball right at center ice!
