The Anchorage Wolverines are back on the road this week as they fly down to Wisconsin to face off against divisional leaders, the Wisconsin Windigo.

The Wolverines currently hold a six game win streak. With their weekend sweep against the Kenai River Brown Bears, the Anchorage Wolverines now sit in third place in the midwest division.

The Windigo is the only other team within the division with a substantial win streak, taking the last five of their games. They sit in first in the division with 40 games played, 25 wins and 10 losses.

The Anchorage Wolverines have four less games than the Windigo, and have won 25 games and lost 10.

The two teams haven't seen each other since their late October three-game series. Anchorage took two of three games of the series, falling short during the final game. Both teams have had major roster movement since last seeing each other, making this matchup even more unpredictable.

The Anchorage Wolverines are partnering with Special Olympics Alaska to raffle off a brand new 2024 BMW 330xi. The winner will be able to choose both the interior and exterior colors.

Each ticket will be sold for $100, with only 1500 tickets sold, your chances of being the big winner is high!

The drawing will happen April 6, 2024. Tickets will be available for purchase at all upcoming Anchorage Wolverines home games. You can also purchase by emailing chris@specialolympicsalaska.org.

CHARITY AUCTION:

The Anchorage Wolverines are proudly teaming up with Providence Children's Hospital to raise funds for the ever growing Children's Hospital.

We will be auctioning off player-worn specialty jerseys and other player signed one-of-a-kind merchandise February 23-25, during the Chippewa Steel series intermissions. Jersey auctions will take place in person and online, the auction schedule will be posted closer to the event.

Specialty jerseys will be unveiled to the public on February 19th through our social media, Instagram, Facebook and X (Formerly Twitter).

SKATE WITH THE WOLVERINES!

Have you been wanting to get on the ice with the Wolverines? Or get autographs from your favorite player? You can do BOTH after the February 25th game!

We will be hosting a Skate with the Wolverines immediately following the final game of the Chippewa Steel series on Feb. 25. Bring your favorite Wolverines items, jerseys and Wileys to get them signed by the whole team!
