Wilson Housley Hired as Player Development Coach at TPH

Kearney, NE. - Tri-City Storm Assistant Coach Wilson Housley was recently hired as a Player Development Coach and Mentor at Total Package Hockey (TPH) in Plymouth, Minnesota. Housley served as an Assistant Coach for the Storm during the 2020-2021 season. Housley will also serve as an Assistant Coach at Chaska High (MN) and the Head Coach of the 2010 (Birth Year) Minnesota Blades AAA program.

Wilson Housley, 29, of Stillwater, Minnesota, was on staff for last season's Regular Season Western Conference Championship. Prior to joining the Storm last season, Housley served as Head Coach for the Thief River Falls Norskies (SIJHL) during the 2018-2019 & 2019-2020 seasons. Before coaching Thief River Falls, Housley graduated from Arizona State University where he played hockey for their ACHA club team. Prior to playing at Arizona State, Housley's junior hockey career included games with the Wisconsin Wilderness (SIJHL), Chicago Hitman (NAHL), and Minot Minotauros (NAHL).

Additionally, I would like to thank Jason Koehler and Anthony Noreen, it was a pleasure to learn from such high-end professionalism and attention to detail. I'm very appreciative of Ethan Goldberg, Troy Thibodeau, Matt Zaba, and Shawn Sramek for allowing me to come in and feel welcomed right away. I enjoyed every minute of our time together. Lastly, I'd like to thank the remaining Storm staff members, players, and the best bus driver in the USHL, Bob Haller. I look forward to my new position at Total Package Hockey, I will be coaching and mentoring Minnesota student-athletes to reach their goals in education and in their hockey careers. Returning to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota was something I really wanted to do and to be able to work with student-athletes from that area.
